Have you ever wanted to learn ASL while playing your favorite game, Magic the Gathering? Well now you can!
Saturday, January 10th, at 12 PM Delainey, our Deaf manager, will be leading a class on basic signs to know while playing Magic! This is open to hearing, Deaf and hard-of-hearing players! After the lesson, the tournament begins! Take on other players while using your newly learned signs! As always we will be going over basic signs for things that come up often in Magic. (If you have any requests for signs you would like to learn please email them in to us!)
This event is meant to be a fun way to make Magic just a little bit more accessible to the Deaf community. We are limiting it to bracket 3 Commander decks only; this means a limit of three Game Changers, no mass land denial, and no early-game combo wins. This way whether you are a seasoned player or new to Commander everyone can have fun! (Questions? You can send in your deck list or bring it by to check prior to the Win-a-box challenge!)
Prizing scales with attendance and first place will win a full Collector Booster Box of Avatar!
